Tiger will never be known as a GREAT because he has no self control, cursing, banging clubs, he will never catch Jack and never have the class or following of Palmer or Sneed, I see woods as a sad waste of talent on a spoiled child.
Tiger is a very skilled golfer. Some old school golfers are just focused on his skin color and it drives them nuts. Get over it and join the 21st century people.
And you're merely either bitter, jealous, delusional, or all three, Bob D. Great golfers are judged by the majors they win. Only Nickalus has won more majors than Tiger, and sometime in the next few years, Tiger's going to pass him. Come into reality with the rest of us, and stop behaving like a cynical troll.
BobD and Notagram - let's see - more wins at a younger age than anybody. Guaranteed ratings boost everytime he plays a televised event. More money on the Tour than anyone. More weeks at number one than anyone. Will probably be the best player of all time. Loser - I think not. Oh - and those outbursts on the course - it's called emotion! I take it neither of you golf and have not heard the language from regulaar Joes out duffing on the weekend. And most of the time he's yelling at himself. I know - the discipline and concentrarion of the guy is incredible.
My guess is that Bob and Grammar never really accomplished much on the sports fields and some how need to try and diminish the accomplishments of others. Tiger Woods is one of the greatest golfers in history, end of story. He may not be white enough for some of you, but sorry, the guy is an incredible duffer.

Golf is more of a skill than a sport. Like shooting darts or playing pool. That said, Tiger is one of the greatest ever.
In my opinion Tiger is great but he is wallowing these days and he will never better the best year of his career, that of the year 2000.
He will have trouble beating Jacks record of 18 majors because his mind is no longer "in it" and he is wise to the fact that he is human. He was better when he was young and naive.
And it is too bad that he doesn't have a personality like Jack did or Phil does.
