NYT: Michael Vick's big mistake may turn out to be mediocrity. He could become a deserving example of the double standard that says if a player can still produce, somebody will try to rehabilitate him.
Vick's big mistake was merely being mediocre

Hey Vecsey, get your facts straight. Shoeless Joe never accepted the money.
And Vick is "entitled" to make a living. Why don't you hire him?
What a stupid article...Let's not make it more than it is. Vick got caught doing something atrocious and inexcusable, but it had nothing to do with his style of play or performance on the field. He has not been signed yet because teams have been waiting to see how his punishment will shake out. This article is written as if he will be forced into retirement because no one wants him.
