Which is the team that we most love to hate?

Certainly Yanks, Cowboys ("America's opponent") and Lakers. Also, teams whose owners pulled them out of cities where they had been wildly popular.
Cowboys for the arrogance of their fans.
OHIO STATE (GO BLUE)!!!!! The other two college teams I don't like are USC & Nebraska.
sarvers phnx suns
notre dame
dallas mavericks
oakland raiders
trojans
Notre Dame. The only Div 1 football team that can have two losses, and still be in the "national title hunt". What a joke.
ND can have a 3-8 season and still get in a bowl game. Whats up with that? They are 2nd on my list
I personally have no idea why Duke is on the list but then I didn't attend North Carolina. Certainly think the Patriots should be there though.
I think one of the biggest reasons for my hate of teams like the Yankees and Pat's is ESPN cramming them down our collective throats ! (ESPN= Eastern Seaboard Players Network.) watch opening highlights and almost always it involves an east coast team. The Cowboys, and individules such as Bret Farve etc. are also media darlings.
Well said about ESPN. Are they aware that baseball teams west of the Hudson and south of oh Cape May are in the ML?
Yankees- The Sox have won a couple recently after being a laughing stock and they were the team to unseat the Yanks so, that gives the Sox the edge in the respect column. Since the Yankees have idiot owners that complain about everything, buy their way to wins and yet haven't won anything since 2000, they are pathetic enough to hate.
Patriots - easy call here... they cheat and get caught, ESPN loves them and has more air time for them when their team and or QB is not playing or they are not in the playoffs (remember during Superbowl week and draft week how they got more headlines on what they were going to do next year than what Arizona and Pitt were going to do next week?), and their fans think they have a god given right to get every call and win every game. I can't wait to see idiot Belicheater fans comment on this
Lakers - They have a rapist on their team, 'nuff said
Red Wings - Unless you are a communist loving Russian, you have to hate these guys. Basically the Russian National team in the 90's and early 2000's
Notre Dame - easy schedule gives them a few wins but, they never beat any good competition, old out of date commentators love to compliment them (remember Herbstreet saying how good they were when they were losing to USC by 34 a couple years ago). Ask anyone under 40 and they will tell you there is no more mystique or thrill about going to or rooting for ND
Gotta agree on the Patriots, and by extension, Tom Brady. I have yet to watch any football game in the last few years when there wasn't at least 6 mentions of Tom Brady - and he wasn't even playing in these games! Seriously, these football commentatories just get off all things Patriots and it's so annoying!
GO WINGS!!!
p.s. - Since the early 2000's it's more like Team Sweden. Not team Russia.
Once again, posting with your feelings instead of your brain.
as far as the red sox team and fans go....
1. If your team doesn't get the players, the staff and the management to field a winner - blame your ownership.
2. if you don't like red sox fans (who go to road games because can't get tickets in boston as they are all sold out) in your ballpark, then get your ass out there and fill the seats for your team. Tampa finally has come around on this and actually now turn out more rays fans then redsox or yankees when they come to town. - don't blame red sox or yankee fans for outnumbering your own if you don't go out, sell out and block out the visitors (who dump mucho cash in your town while they are at it..)
I agree about the raiders i wonder if jerry jones will trade down to buy them they fit his personna better than the cowboys do!
BTW about the Pats not making the playoffs.... 11-5 would have made it any other year this decade. Let's see Indy /NYG go that deep without the mannings. A great QB makes almost as much differencer as a great coach. We also have to get real about another thing - all sports at every level - it ain't about who cheats, it's about who gets caught!
the baltimore pigeons...i mean ravens...hate em hate em hate em
All you Pats haters, get real, your just pissed because your team sucks and probably lacks good ownership.
Any team at the top will be hated, all you Brady haters should just zip it closed because if he was on your team you would have nothing to say!
If Brady was on my team I'd say "Bummer not being able to win because you're a B list QB no longer surrounded by an A list team and coach huh?"
notre dame
The Patriots are at the top of the list because of the cheating and the arrogant coach who loses and runs away rather than shake the winning coach's hand.
I have to agree with Rich on one thing though. They do have a great QB, but my Steelers are not far behind.
Any team that signs Brett Favre is my most hated. DUKE BASKETBALL is up there. Their guys flop flop and flop some more and think they have every birthright to get every call go their way. Their facial expressions and overall body language tell it all. Coach K is my least favorite coach so it starts with him since Lefty Driesell retired
1. Notre Dame with the most overrated coach Charlie Weis.
2. Dallas Cowboys, a once proud football franchise is now laughable with a mediocre quarterback.
3. Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe should thank his lucky stars he has Paul Gisol. You have not done it by yourself yet.
4. NY Yankees overrated with a clueless manager and front office.
5 NY Mets see NY Yankees
PATRIOTS should be #2. No one cares about Dallas.
1. Any team that can buy its roster from year to year (Yankees, Red Sox)
2. Any city big enough to package endorsement deals to draw players away from smaller markets (NY, LA, few others getting close)
3. Patriots - not because of there team but because their coach is such a knob in front of the camera. Professional sports is an entertainment industry and to have nothing more to say than 2 or 3 word answers shows your lack of character. I blame his father, who was a good coach, for raising a football coaching robot.
4. Minnesota Vikings - If Houston is Greenbay South, Minnesota is Greenbay 3 (Longwell, Sharper, Fergusson, Favre next) seriously any team stupid enough to trade like a decades worth of draft picks for a running back seriously needs to be demoted to some minor league ranks. You still suck with or without Favre.
5. Cubs - The fans really do it for this team you don't just annoy the players you annoy everyone you come in contact with and make the whole game a miserable experience even those people who don't attend the game but still have to deal with you outside of the stadium, in traffic, or public, or general conversation.
Red Sox and redsoxnation because they continue to be obsessed with the Yankees after winning world series. They were chanting yankees a s**k at a patriots super bowl celebration. That chant is the first thing they teach their children to say.
