just tough weather. woods is the best, and will be the best for years to come. this week, he just got the wrong end of the draw. he'll come back at the british and probably kick soem butt there.

There aren't a lot of professional's out there that still get all pissy when they do make a bad shot except for this POS.
The critics are always talking about Tiger's inability to drive the ball in the fairway. That is NOT his problem when he doesn't win. Tiger's iron play is so superior he can claw his way out of crappy drives and lies. But when his flat stick isn't working he doesn't WIN. It is as simple as that. Anyone who knows anything about golf would say this is true if they went back and reviewed all the tapes from his wins and losses. When he is putting lights out he is virtually impossible to beat. Ask the other pros---don't take my word for it! And as for Rod S's comment that Tiger is a washed up has been---I presume you are among the many who NEVER WERE AND NEVER WILL BE!!!
Everybody had to play in those conditions. When tigger loses, he and media make excuses, when he wins, it seems to me that the field always comes back to him and hands it to him on silver platter. Just an observation since he has NEVER came from behind to win a major. By the way, I don't know why the media felt like this was a story, he was in red numbers only once and never was a threat in this tournament no matter how hard they tried to make him a factor.

What about the professional golfer Glover who won for the first time and made the clutch birdie under pressure?? This coverage totally sucks, the writer of this article needs to get a threesome going with Tiger and Johnny Miller........(not on the golf course).
