Watching coverage on ESPN since 8am CDT, now switching over to NBC. Endured 5 minuntes of commercials, Bob Costos recounting what we just watched. Now all we need is Jimmy Roberts to tell us about the latest news in hockey (who cares?).........
What an aweful thing to say! Let me inform you who he is. Lucas is from Greenville, South Carolina, a Clemson University Grad, played on the national championship team while he was there, and a devoted husband to his wife (they've been together since they were 15). He also seems to be one of the rising stars of the PGA! That's who Lucas is!
lovejoy, what did you manage to acomplish by the age of 29!?! I am just guessing, there was a time when Tiger, Phil, and David were all new faces of the game...grow up, you're no real golf fan...
You call this Open boring, yet there was a three way tie with three holes to play!
Hello Today,My Name is Kelly Westbrook I live in the central coast,I have a great story to share with Matt, about Payne Stewart & my 15 yr son Tanner.WE saw the clip on Aaron Stewart about his father and It was a flash of light that went through my bones.Tanner was a lucky little 5 yr.boy,who was in the right place at the right time.He was the boy with the glove from the saterday's round at the U.S. open in 1998 with Payne Takeing it off his hand and letting Tanner under the rope for picture's to last a life time.Tanner would love to meet and play with Aaron someday, so here is a Mother's dream of helping her son get it. I have all the info you might need if you would love to follow this story as are son reaches for his dream of becoming one of the U.S. open player's in the future. Alway's A Mother. Kelly
I'm a huge Mikelson fan, mainly because of how much time he devotes to the gallery and his charity work. His short game is pretty good too. Having just lost my Mom to breast cancer in march, I was surprised he could focus on anything else. So I gave him some slack this time.
I was surprised by the headline. I was expecting "Tiger loses open by 4 because of bad weather". I didn't expect them to mention Lucas Glover winning. After all nobody beats tiger in the media's eyes.
Is everyone just jealous of Tiger Woods or what?? I don't remember all this @!$%#ing going on when Michael Jordan was setting records right or left. So what is your problem. I mean if you practiced as much as Tiger Woods maybe any one of you could HOPE to aspire to the type of golf he plays. The difference between Tiger and the rest of the field is his consistency. I mean there are a boat load of one major tournament wonders running around out there--Rich Beam, Michael Campbell, Shaun Micheel, etc. But Tiger wins consistently, i.e., 67 worldwide wins. I mean according to the press Tiger is currently in a slump. Any other pro golfer would love to be in the type of slump that Tiger is experiencing. The pro golfers all know who the best in the world is and they will be happy to tell you his name is MISTER WOODS!! Get over yourselves!!
Wow! Did not expect the negative posts at all. Kudos to Lucas Glover.
Hey Lucas, you're as good as anybody else. Don't sell yourself short. In Pro Golf, anybody can beat anybody else on any given day; it's just a matter of patience, endurance, perserverance, and concentration, and, over the the last 5 days, you performed better than anybody else in all those categories.
Hats off to Lefty! I don't know if I could concentrate on golf with all he's got going.
Tiger is simply feeling the effects of not playing competitively for 9 months while the rest of the entire golf world played on without him. Now, he has to play catch up; a role with which he is not familiar.
Any professional who loses should feel disappointed because their main belief and objective is to win. They all know they can play, but not all really believe they can and should win. This is the main reason so many people don't like Woods. He has the attitude of a winner and a perfectionist.
I've watched Lucas Glover on the nationwide tour for years and I knew one day he would break through, congrats man. You deserve it. I have to feel a little bit for Ricky Barnes. He's another player I followed throughout his career and i thought he was going to finally do it. Look for this man to finally win before the year is over. I predict it. I can't say I wasn't dissapointed that Phil didn't pull it out. He's the one I pull for week in and week out but you have to admire the fact that he could play much less contend. I lost my mom in march to breast cancer and I don't know how he did it. My prayers are for Phil, Amy, 3 daughters and the entire family. I know first hand what you're going through.

I am just happy that Woods didn't win. I am sick of hearing about that guy. Why the hell did Mediate crumble last year and let Woods win?
As usual Mikelson gagged on a short putts when he needed them. Typical for him

What a dull non-outcome.
Winner=weather.
Loser= all golf fans.
