Move over, Red Auerbach. Phil Jackson is now No. 1.
Jackson, the chilled-out, bow-legged Zen Master who won six league titles in the 1990s with Michael Jordan in Chicago, now has won his fourth with the Los Angeles Lakers and broke a tie with legendary Boston coach Red Auerbach as the winningest coach in finals history.
Jackson’s record-breaking triumph came in a relatively easy 99-86 Lakers victory over Orlando, a team that had beaten L.A. twice in the regular season but fell in five games in the NBA Finals.

Phil is a very smart man. He knows that the team he has right now is special and will only get better. The Lakers have an excellent shot at repeating if they can keep their main core together that being Ariza, Odom, Bynum, Gasol, Fisher, and of course Bryant. All you crying Celtic fans who say we wouldn't have won against you don't forget that we played you last year without Bynum. I'm not saying that the Celtics wouldn't have won the championship, but it would have been much more competitive. That was last year. Today the championship has come home to LA where it belongs.
