Malkin may have strength, finesse, agility, speed and all those things BUT he is also one of the dirtiest players I have seen play the game. Anyone with a Stanely Cup recored 29 minutes of penalties DOES NOT deserve a trophy or title for it.

I want to know where all those Wings fans are that were certain they would win in 5 or 6 games because the Penguins weren't in the same league as their Wings.

What a complete classless tard you are. Wings fans booing at the end, so you're in the right crowd of the classless. The Wings interfere on almost every shift. They are essentially the Patriots of hockey. And down they went too. Yeah, Go Wings, go to golf course and lament that they beat you four out of five. You lost retard, man up like Mike Babcock did.
Malkin has been so amazing this whole year - and the playoffs were truly his time to shine. He so deserved this!
Geno deserves to win - Pittsburgh deserves to win - NBC - you lost many fans in the Burgh - you need to get your priorities in check! Next year - let the Pittsburgh fans watch on the Jumbotron - it's the magic that we're made of! Yes, - we'll be back! :)

I hope Bettman is happy with the way he manipulated this series. For all the hype about Crosby, he sure didn't contribute to his team's success in the Finals - he barely showed up. and then to act like such a classless jerk at the end shows he's still got a lot of growing up to do. This is a game with deep traditions - it's not all about Crosby. Last year when they were stunned and watching the Red Wings skate around with the cup, I said they will get their turn. It didn't have to be orchestrated by Bettman.
You better get your facts straight gcbarb before you go shooting your mouth off. The AP isn't always correct you know. Crosby was slightly delayed by receiving congrats by some guy name Mario Lemeiux. He most certainly was clearly photographed in the handshake line. He also was clearly photgraphed talking to Franzen and Osgood. As you'll note, it was the ALTERNATE captain Draper shooting his mouth his. Many Detroit players had already left the ice very quickly following obviously a crushing defeat. What should he have done, scuse me Mario, I need to go kiss Lidstrom's ass? This is such nonsense. Crosby is not a guy who disrepects the traditions of hockey. So, in the exuberance, Lidstrom left before Crosby got through the line. BFD. And again, the extra days between the games should have benefitted the aging Wings. If they were the usual day between, the Wings might have lost by a worse score. The Wings had two power plays in the third period in Game Six and what, four, in Game Seven? How about the puck cupping on Osgood's back early in the series not called. It's freaking hockey and even though the series was dragged out for NBC it was pretty fair and evened out. Losers make excuses. Winners don't. Scoring isn't the only indicator of "contributing to his team's success." How many goals did Hossa have? Aside from the clearly classless Wings fans and Draper's outburst in a moment of pain, the Wings coach, players and organization handled it like winners with class. Just check Osgood's quotes on this. Why can't you. You ought to move to Buffalo so you can cry "no lateral," "no goal" the rest of your life. Get some class and stop looking for excuses.
Does anybody remember how the Pittsburgh fans acted after the Wings won the Cup last year? They showed respect to both the game and to the Wings by either clapping or just watching in silence. There was no booing like you saw in Detroit. Those spoiled Wings fans were booing so loudly, you would of thought it was the middle of the 1st quarter at a home Lions' game!!! Go Pens!!!!!
Crosby carried the team on his back into the finals. The Conn Smythe is for the playoffs, not the final series. Seriously myopic decision.
