what makes you think he's going to fix up what he messes up.
TO is a clown. He belongs in a circus tent with the elephants so he can scoop the poop. TO has burnt every bridge he has ever crossed. If it werent for the NFL (national felony league) TO would be doing 15 to life for one of his many hicups he as caused in his adult life. If he moved into my neighborhood I would advise my neighbors to arm themselfs and stay behind closed doors. TO's possey would come in like Shermans march to the sea and destroy everything and refuse to pay for any damages that they have created. Would I rent to TO, PLEASE, this man is nothing more than a 2 legged jackass!
I think you're confusing his on-field behavior with his off-field behavior. Despite his big mouth, I can't think of one instance that he has caused any trouble off the field were the cops had to get involved. Let him move were he wants.
I would not only rent a home to him, I'd rent the other half of my bed to him!!! Move to Seattle T.O.
I am an Eagles fan and have no great attraction to TO. However, the negative reaction seems to be inspired by the same immature, judgmental attitude now being used to unfairly assess Judge Sotomayor ("she's a racist") and the same thoughtless, groundless fears regarding the terrorists in Gitmo being sent to prisons in the states ("not in my backyard"). Maybe it's time for Americans to act with more graciousness and maturity. I don't have to like TO to have him as a neighbor. What on earth do they imagine he would do that would be such a problem? Maybe a traffic jam caused by a few aggressive reporters? In the name of decency don't deny him a place to live. The sensible thing would be to write to the media and tell them to confine their pursuit of sound-bites to the stadium, but allow TO and his neighbors to have the privacy they deserve.
Since he should have a previous history in San Fransisco, Philadelphia and Dallas, if those were ok then I would rent to him like I would to anyone else. If he has had problems, I would ask for a good faith deposit to be held based upon the value of the house.
As a player I don't like T.O., but otherwise he would be just another (potential) customer, and one with a past I can check on and feel pretty sure it's accurate.
He's a pompous unappreciative ass that deserves what he gets. And I whole heartedly agree with G.Torres!
I would rent to T.O. in a HEART BEAT!!!!!!! HEY T.O., GIVE ME A CALL!!!!!!!
I would rent to him in a heartbeat. You people are way too serious. What happens on the football field has nothing to do with him buying or renting a house and by hte way, he's an excellent wide receiver. He just has a competitive mentality and naive people are just not used to it. So T.O., come on down to Louisiana we have alot of love for you here. I think you are the greatest wide receiver ever.
With the way the economy is... I bet most of those NO votes... would bend over and rent their place. While he might be a trip on the field... you don't hear that he causes any trouble off of it... So I'd rent him my house without question.
First off I don't believe that people won't rent to him--A buck is a buck is a buck. This is just his lame attempt for attention...let the Buffalo version of the T.O. SHOW begin. He is only going to be there for a year...make him pay it all at once.
To all the people who say "Money is money"... exactly. Find someone else who isn't a jackass. They will do just as well without the annoyances. But of course money (and money now) is all you really care about I guess, even if it means potentially hurting your neighborhood. Idiots.
I like Redmom's idea. Have him pay up front for a year if you think there will be a problem with him breaking the lease. As for drama - neighborhoods are all about drama. Doesn't anyone watch Desperate Housewives anymore? I have some stories that I could tell about my neighborhood that could make for the best drama on television!
It's amazing how petty people can be. This man has millions - he's getting $6.5 mil from the Bills for this year alone. Doesn't that make him the ideal renter?
Oh, unless you're letting your personal feelings about a man you've never met, or the voice of the press determine your business practices.
And to the comments above about the "trouble" he has caused: he hasn't committed any crimes: no shootings, stabbings, rapes, or assaults; his controversies have been about celebrating in the end zone or not playing well with others. He may have a big mouth, he may be very demanding, but he's a fabulous athlete (#2 in TD receptions in NFL history) who has been hired by an NFL team because they think he can improve their team. Maybe those refusing to rent to him aren't Bills fans! lol

with his history i doubt he will be around long enough to complete the lease.
