I have been a Philadelphia Flyers fan since birth and I can honestly say, I hate when Flyers games are on NBC! It is so obvious that Pierre McGuire is partial to the Pittsburgh Penguins and he never knows when to keep his big mouth shut. Many of his comments yesterday during the Flyers/Penguins playoff game, really pissed me off!
Being partial to a team is fine, but didn't anyone ever tell him that to be a national sports announcer, you really need to be impartial when it comes to announcing the games. Pierre, You're annoying!

Sharon is right! I have never heard anyone as annoying (and mostly wrong!) as pierre.

Why are the other announcers even there? He's always stepping on their time. "Behind the glass" should be "out in the parking lot"! With his 'sterling' record as a coach he just ought to keep his mouth shut.

This guy is an idiot... Watch the "slash" from Hossa on your precious penquin.... The penquin is the one slashing at Hossa, you can clearly see it in slow motion.... So like Mike said to you during the game get a towel you cry baby!

I'm fed up with McGuire's relentless pro-Pittsburgh bias. I got so sick of it tonight, I muted the sound after the second period and found the game much more enjoyable. He needs to STFU.

I coulnd't agree more. If I hear Crosby's name anymore I'm gonna puke. He is a great hockey player, but the Wings have shut him down and should be given credit for it. The annoucing for these two games have been so pro Pit's that it has become a joke. I don't know how NBC can allow these guys to call the game and do thier commentary the way they do. They are supposed to be unbiased and just call the game the way it is being played, not the way they would like it to be played. At one time Pierre made the statement that Det wasn't getting as many shots on goal thru the first, at least one of the other guys did remind him that Det was short handed for a spell in that period. I'm waiting for someone on the bench to do a sideway punch in between the bench.

I watched game 2 at a buddy of mines house who isn't much of a hockey fan, so unfortunately we watched the game on NBC. Pierre is absolutely terrible. At one point when the Pens were down a goal he said they had Detroit right where they want them, yeah I bet they did. I am just glad that I live in a market that I can watch the games on CBC with ppl who have good analysis of the game. The whole "In Between The Glass" should be abolished as a whole. I am yet to meet one person who likes it or Pierre.
