It was 6 years ago, before the Yankees... is he taking them now???? I doubt it... who gives a damn..... If New York doesn't want him trade him or let him go. We'll take him in Detroit...

Arod has had 2 good seasons while with the Yanks...only 2. He's emotional already and I can only imagine the hysteria that will happen when the team is on the road and he goes up to bat. It will be nuts. Giambi was able to handle it but I don't know about Arod.

Arod didn't NEED to used steroids. It's too bad that he did. Jeter is the BEST Yankee shortstop...for those that wanted Arod there...well they are no looking stupid!

So much for "confidential" testing for the good of the game. Even if proven true, the fact that A-Rod is outed as a past user under these circumstances makes me sick! Sue the bast***s that leaked the information. Yes, its about the money: both the players and those who seek to bring down the mighty. If I were advising A-Rod, I would suggest that he simply remain silent - as the testing should have remained. Did he learn of the results at the time of the testing? Did he learn from the mistakes of others and the random sampling in 2003. Is he passing testing now?

Although his usage was not a good thing, good for him for being forthcoming and admitting his mistakes. He has grown in stature in my eyes as a result of that. The unfortunate truth is that steroid usage during those years was a stain on the game. I believe that all 104 players should be named and afterward let's move on.

Schilling ( and it isn't very often I agree with him) is right if you are going to name A-Rod then name the rest. I agree A-Rod has not acted in a manner that endears him to the public but if the test were supposed to be confidential then it isn't fair he gets named and no one else. We as baseball fans, the owners and the league itself were fine for years suspecting players of juicing but turning a blind eye and we came out in record numbers to cheer them on. Would this all be different if Bonds had just been humble and showed respect to the game instead of being above it. Maybe nobody would have cared.

This is so laughable how many fans are vilifying the players and not baseball administration. The top brass turned their heads back when a suddenly bloated up Sosa & McGuire were putting up astronomical numbers. It was OK then because revenues went up dramatically as well as the scoreboard numbers. They and our gutless commissioner got what they wanted - more fans in the ballparks. Enhancement drugs played a huge part in all of this and you know they were turning their heads from it. Now the witch hunt continues and the top brass is nowhere close to accepting any responsibility for the humiliation of the game and the ruination of sacred baseball records.

I'm not an A-Rod fan, but at least he admitted it... Clowns like The Rocket & Bonds continue the charade at the expense of baseball, its fans and their families friends. And speaking of charades, if MLB is truly serious about eliminating steriods and closing this sad chapter in baseball's history, then publish the whole damn list and expose all the cheaters!!!

It's hard to believe that A-Rod will NO LONGER be the hero to so many who admired him over the years. But then again, with an ego like his does it matter to HIM what we think? Let me give you 252,000,000 reasons why he could care less about what you and you and you along with the media really think. When the season starts and all the boo's come from the stands how will it effect him. OH wait a minute, he's got that EGO protecting him. And a fist full of dollars. Could add Madge but didn't she give him the boot? Really sad!!!!!
