    Y.E. Yang handed Tiger Woods his first loss ever when Woods entered the final round leading a major. But where does it rank in sports upsets? If you say it's not the biggest, then tell us why.

            The 1980 US Olympic Hockey teams win over the USSR is far greater. This was actually inevitable... the rest of the field cant always choke.

                      Woods wasn't that far ahead. Red Sox win over the NYY after being down 0-3 or the US hockey team win over USSR were bigger.

                            Not even close, Tiger has been off his game since his surgery. Olympic hockey USA over Russians is still the biggest by far

                              Bveryone in the PGA would say that Tiger will be back next year. I will be watching Yang with interest to see how he fares in the future.

                                Not even close. U.S. hockey winning gold in 1980 and Buster Douglas knocking out Mike Tyson were MUCH bigger upsets.

                                  Yang played superb golf but this doesn't rise to to the level of a major upset. Woods does need to re-evalute his strategy.

                                    Not the biggest ever. Y.E. Who?? Buster Douglas beating Mike Tyson was a momentous upset. The 1980 US Hockey Team beating Russia too.
