The inaugural five members of NASCAR's new Hall of Fame were inducted Sunday in a ceremony that both honored auto racing's pioneers and celebrated the entire industry.

The NASCAR Hall of Fame opened its doors with a star-studded ceremony showcasing many of its stars.

Almost half the grandstands had cleared and cars were running at Daytona International Speedway with the race red-flagged Sunday.
