    He wanted it the most and he played like it. If the Wings had won, it would have been Osgood.

          He deserved it. Most consistent player throughout the playoffs and regular season too!

            Chris Osgood, and it's in my DNA to dislike the Red Wings. In 2003, even though the Ducks lost to New Jersey, they awarded it to Giguere.

              there were other players far more worthy than Malkin. Evidently, he got two gifts, no suspension and a trophy for instigating.

                Obviously Bill McCreary was the MVP for the Pens. Just because he wore a striped shirt is no reason to overlook his immense contributions.
